St. Mary’s Annual Chicken Supper will be held on Sunday September 3rd. Raffle Tickets will be available for sale on this day and the draw will take place
after the Supper at 6:00 p.m.
No Coffee after Mass: There will be no coffee after Mass during the summer.
St. Bernadette Parish in Bonfield: Parish Supper on Sunday July 30th, Sea Pie and beans served from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Games start at 1:30 p.m.
St. Martin of Tours Parish Supper: Sunday August 6th from 1:00 p.m. Adults $13.00, children ages 5 to 12 $5.00 and children under 5 are free.
St. Andrew’s Parish Supper & Bazaar: Sunday August 13th from 1:30 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Hot & cold buffet. Adults $13.00, children under 10 $5.00

Priests Ordination to be aired on Cogeco TV: The Ordinations of our 4 new priests will be aired on Cogeco TV channels 12 (regular) and 700 (HDTV). The dates are Sunday August 20th at
10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and on Monday August 21st at 7:00 p.m.
St. Charles Borromeo Parish Otter Lake: Parish Supper on July 23rd, Sea-pie, ham and beans served from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Games beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Community Open House: On Sunday July 23rd from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., 18 Karol Wojtyla Square in Barry’s Bay. There will be a

Help is needed for the Pilgrimage to the Shrine of St. Ann in Cormac: Help is needed with the set up of the grounds starting at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday July 22nd and the take down on Monday
July 31st starting at 6:00 p.m. Help is also needed during the Pilgrimage days with various tasks & your assistance will be gratefully received.
Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College asks you to join us to celebrate a Mass of Thanksgiving & Celebration Banquet: On Saturday September 30th from 3:00 p.m.

Grow-A-Row: This gardening season, why not plant an extra row of your favourite vegetables for the Madawaska Valley Food Bank. Start some extra indoor
seedlings, you’ll help people learn to grow their own food. Seedlings and harvest can be dropped off at 188 Paugh Lake Road on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of any month. Call

Change of time of Polish Sunday Mass in our Parish for summer season - from Sun., May 21 (inclusive) - to Sun., Oct. 8, 2017 - Mass in Polish language will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., not
at 10:00 a.m. We are happy to welcome all our friends, guests and visitors.
Marianhill’s Hospice Palliative Care Unit is looking for volunteers willing to commit one afternoon or one morning per month, helping to provide

St. Mary’s Cemeteries’ Bylaws prohibit the placement of all candles (including tea lights, glass and plastic encased, etc.) in St. Mary’s and
St. Stanislaus Cemeteries. This not only is a fire hazard during the dry season but a danger during the grass cutting season because of broken glass and plastic. Solar lights
are allowed beside monuments or suspended on hangers.
Alzheimer Society, Barry’s Bay & Area Coffee Club. A monthly social and discussion group for persons living with early dementia and their family
caregivers. At the Opeongo Seniors Centre on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m.

As women, we need to recharge our “spiritual batteries” to carry out our daily duties. As members of the Rosary Society, we would like to make the
1st Saturday of every month, a special day of bringing our concerns before our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. We invite everyone to join us on the 1st Saturday of the month to participate in
the Mass which will be celebrated for this intention.
