Announcements

Study Days - Fr. Jan and Fr. Bosco are going to the Queen of Apostles Renewal Center in Mississauga for Annual Oblate Study Days from Sunday evening, Jan. 14 to Friday, Jan. 19, 2018. There will be no Masses from Monday to Friday. In the case of emergency please call Fr. Mervin Coulas tel. 613-756-2037 at St Lawrence O’Toole Church, Barry’s Bay.

The Rosary Society is offering each parish family one free 2018 religious calendar, a donation is asked from non-parishioners of St. Mary’s. Calendars are at the back by the religious articles.

Envelope Sets 2018 for those who are register at our Parish are ready to pick up at the back of the church.

Sacraments: Parents of children who will be receiving the Sacrament of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and those eligible for the Sacrament of Confirmation, are asked to register their child before Jan. 31st 2018. Registration forms will be available at the back of the Church after January 1st.

Lenten Pilgrimage to Israel with Fr. Michael Scherrey, Companions of the Cross. March 15-26, 2018. 12 days/10 nights following in the footsteps of Jesus, Mary and the Apostles. Diocesan Marriage Preparation Programs: are available at the following parishes: St. James the Less in Eganville, Sat. Oct. 14th & Sat. Oct. 28th. St. Francis Xavier in Renfrew, Sat. Feb. 24th & Sat. March 3rd. Our Lady of Lourdes in Pembroke , Sat. April 7th & Sat. April 14th. The evening sessions listed on the registration form are not available due to lack of interest at this time. Altar Servers: I would like to encourage and invite young people & adults to be Altar Servers during the Masses

Please do not use the religious article corner at the back of the church for a drop off for unwanted and/or used religious articles. If you need assistance for proper disposal of such items, contact Fr. Jan.

Friday Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: from 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Please sign up on the list for Friday Adoration at the back of the church. Please choose your hour. Thank you and God bless you.

The DVD Story of Canada’s First Polish Settlers Part 1, with English & Polish subtitles, is now available for sale for a cost of $20.00. If anyone is interested, please see Fr. Wojciech.

The Proud Inheritance, Ontario’s Kaszuby, a beautiful book available at the rectory for the cost of $15.00.

As women, we need to recharge our “spiritual batteries” to carry out our daily duties. As members of the Rosary Society, we would like to make the 1st Saturday of every month, a special day of bringing our concerns before our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. We invite everyone to join us on the 1st Saturday of the month to participate in the Mass which will be celebrated for this intention.
